    YAAHS Yarn Social is a crochet and knitting circle, meeting in the Bay Area since 2019.  What started as 3 friends learning crochet at a local brewery, has grown to include over a dozen members, spanning San Francisco and the East Bay.

    Our members have learned new techniques in crochet, knitting, weaving, dyeing, and more.  Social crafting has strengthened our creative skills and kept us sane on this rollercoaster of modern life.

    Yarn is never a requirement, though; we welcome visual artists as well as social butterflies to attend and participate in our meetups.  It’s the perfect way to build community, practice a craft, or simply find new inspiration!

Whether you knit, crochet, braid, weave, macrame or spin.... YAAHS is a chance to meet other creatives and work on projects in a social atmosphere. 

We are a bunch of crafty folks who realized that making art is more fun with friends. 

As always, yarn isn’t required to enjoy this social meetup. EVERYONE is invited to come to get inspired, eat and drink, and chat with other creatives.
