Welcome to the obsession:

Making art in the Bay Area since 2013, Anastacia wants to share the love of yarn art with the world.

Crochet started as a solitary activity after moving cross-country, helping with anxiety, depression and self-esteem.  Today, it has evolved to be her favorite  creative and social endeavor. 

In 2019, she started hosting YAAHS : Yarn Social with two other stitching friends.  Since then, the yarn-art obsession has grown to include many other wildly creative folks and dozens of events every year. 

Though our group is primarily crocheters and knitters, we welcome all artists and inspiring folks.  Even social butterflies, who simply appreciate art, are welcome in the circle.  If you are crochet-curious, then we’d be happy to get you hooked with a lesson!
