Welcome to the obsession:

Making art in the Bay Area since 2013, Staaci wants to share a love of YARN ART with the world. More than just the act of crochet or knitting, these hobbies have helped create friendship and community.

Crochet started as a solo activity after moving cross-country, helping with anxiety, depression and self-esteem when friends were hard to find.  Today, it has evolved to be our favorite creative and social endeavor. 

In 2019, Staaci started hosting YAAHS : Yarn Social with two other stitching friends.  Since then, the yarn-art obsession has grown to include many other wildly creative folks and dozens of events every year. 

Though our group is primarily folks who crochet and knit, we welcome all artists and inspired humans.  Even social butterflies, who simply appreciate art and discussion, are welcome in the circle.  If you are crochet-curious, then we’d be happy to get you hooked with a lesson!
